While learning to work with a large format film camera in the 1980’s, I made a series of images in which I captured the simple yet elegant subject of eggs. In photographing, processing and printing, I attempted to capture and recreate the delicacy of the highlights, shadows and subtle details of the eggs. The images have become a building block for further artistic and conceptual play and exploration.
